ANNOUNCEMENT

With the upcoming 2021-2022 season, Taoli World Dance Competition has reached its 6th year in the United States.  If Taoli is a child, the age of 6 is the starting of school and enters a new stage of growth in life.  The Taoli World Dance Competition will implement new competition rules in the 2021-2022 season. The purpose of these new rules is to encourage “inheritance” and “innovations” – We encourage innovation by young dancers, but the source of innovation is to respect the traditional culture and make the foundation of creation well-founded. In the new season, we have added a “level-setting” session. In this session, all contestants will learn traditional combinations or required movements, and the preliminary jury will assess the levels of each group category based on these requirements. This level will be used in the seasonal finals.

This competition will be set to 4 sessions: Winter Session, Group Dance Session, Spring Sessions, and Annual Finals.

Since the pandemic has not yet been fully controlled, the organizing committee recommends that the winter session, group session, and spring session continue online, and the format of the annual finals will be determined in accordance with the control of the pandemic.
