2024 Summer Intensive

Summer of 2024, the Pan America Chinese Dance Alliance (PACDA) will conduct 3 different Summer Intensives; Summer Intensive in China, CA Summer Intensive, CA Gala Summer Intensive.

The mission of the summer training is to develop an understanding of culture and art forms at the highest level, emphasizing not only the importance of quality and outstanding technique but also the expressive power of dance as a creative art.

In the course, PACDA will invite well-known instructors from China and the United States to devote themselves to the learning process and growth of each student. Intensive and extensive training includes Chinese Classical Dance, Chinese Folk Dance, Ballet and other courses. The content may include but not limited to: common questions from the preliminaries, classical dance body rhythm, folk dance training, ballet basic training, etc.

The combinations learned in the Gala Summer Intensive course will be performed at the Pan American Multicultural Gala on August 4, 2024.

Age Limit:  Attendees must be between ages 12 and 35 by January 1st, 2024 (If an attendee is under the age of 14, must be accompanied by a parent; If an attendee is between ages 14-18 and not accompanied by a parent, must be authorized by PACDA before the trip)
